Enviromental green zone (badge obligatory)

"Enviromental badge obligatory for green zones in Germany also for foreigners -
purchase your badge prior to your visit to Germany."

Already from October 1, 2008 on, there are vehicle restrictions in Munich's
enviromental green zone covering the area of the city centre /old town.

Vehicles without enviromental badge - even when registered in foreign countries -
may not pass through the green zone without the risk of a penalty.

Coming from Munich Airport
By S-Bahn (Munich suburban rail network)
• Take the S1 or S8, get off at Karlsplatz / Stachus
• Follow the pedestrian zone (Neuhauser Straße) in the direction of Marienplatz
• Schmiedl Marktforschung is located in Neuhauser Straße 27 on the right hand side
   in the building of "Augustiner Bräu" on the third and fourth floor



Coming from the Autobahn (motorway) from Salzburg (A 8), Lindau (A96),
   Garmisch-Partenkirchen (A95) or Nuremberg (A9/A92)

By car coming from Lindau (A 96):
• Follow the A96 in the direction of Munich up to the end of the motorway
• Keep left at the end of the motorway, follow the sign pointing out the direction
   to Nuremberg
• Then drive onto the Mittlerer Ring (the Munich ring road)

By car coming from Garmisch-Partenkirchen (A 95):
• Follow the A 95 in the direction of Munich up to the end of the motorway in
  Sendling Süd
• Turn left at the traffic lights into Garmischer Straße (=Mittlerer Ring) and then
   go straight ahead

By car coming from Salzburg (A 8):
• Take the A 8 in the direction of Munich
• At Autobahnkreuz München-Süd (the motorway intersection Munich-South) follow    the sign pointing out the direction of Lindau / Garmisch-Partenkirchen and follow it    up to the end of the motorway
• Now you have arrived on Mittlerer Ring (also called Tegernseer Landstraße,
   Candid-, Brudermühlstraße and -tunnel, Heckenstallerstraße, Garmischer Straße)

• Keep right in Trappentreu-Tunnel following the sign pointing out the direction
   to the Stadtmitte (city centre)
• Turn right at the next traffic lights into Landsberger Straße
• Drive straight on into Bayerstraße or Martin-Greif-Straße
   (the extension of Bayerstraße)
• Turn left at the third set of traffic lights into Schwanthalerstraße, follow this street    up to Sonnenstraße
• Keep on the right lane when crossing Sonnenstraße and then, at once, turn right    into Herzog-Spital-Straße
• There are several multi-storey car parks at your disposal
• Schmiedl Marktforschung is located in Neuhauser Straße 27 on the right hand side
   in the building of "Augustiner Bräu" on the third and fourth floor

By car coming from the Autobahn (motorway) Stuttgart (A 8)

• Take the A 8 in the direction of Munich up to the end of the motorway, then drive    straight ahead along the main road (Verdistraße)
• Turn left at the fork on Romanplatz into Arnulfstraße, then drive through    underneath Donnersberger Brücke
• Turn left into Marsstraße behind the Mercedes Benz office, passing the Circus Krone    building on the right, you cross Seidlstraße, then turn right at the second street    (Elisenstraße)
• Turn left at the next traffic lights
• Drive on to the next traffic lights where you turn right into Sonnenstraße
• Keep to the left lane and turn around at the second traffic lights
• Then turn right into Herzog-Spital-Straße at once
• There are several multi-storey car parks at your disposal
• Schmiedl Marktforschung is located in Neuhauser Straße 27 on the right hand side
   in the building of "Augustiner Bräu" on the third and fourth floor

By car coming from Munich Airport or
from the Autobahn (motorway) Nuremberg (A 92 / A 9)

• Follow the A92 / A9 in direction of Munich up to the end of the motorway at
   München Schwabing
• Turn right at the end of the motorway in direction of Mittlerer Ring Nord (the Munich    ring road)
• After about 1 km turn left into Leopoldstraße
• Drive straight on into Ludwigstraße (the extension of Leopoldstraße)
• Turn right into Briennerstraße at the end of Ludwigsstraße
• Turn left at the second set of traffic lights, pass the "Platz der Opfer des    Nationalsozialismus", then turn left into Maximiliansplatz
• Keep to the left lane and turn left at the forth set of traffic lights into Sonnenstraße
• Keep to the left lane and turn around at the second traffic lights
• Then turn right into Herzog-Spital-Straße at once
• There are several multi-storey car parks at your disposal
